Voice
of the Bride is a relational ministry endeavoring to unite like-minded
individuals who hear the call of Jesus to go deeper in their worship
and intercession.
We
gather area worship teams and intercessors to take a scheduled amount
of time and lead that gathering in intercessory worship.
We
are providing an environment and atmosphere of time and freedom
for intercessors and worshipers to do the ministry they are called
to. Musicians, singers, and dancers can move in a continual flow
with spontaneous songs and intercession for city-wide revival or
as directed by the Holy Spirit.
We
seek to proclaim the spiritual beauty and identity of the church
as a warrior bride equipped to function in mature partnership with
Jesus to gather the harvest with power and to build the church in
victory.
There
is much talk today of the restoration of the Tabernacle of David,
though we're not always clear on what that means. David's tabernacle
signifies the restoration of God's manifest presence.
There
are many emerging alternative forms of church and of worship, after
the heart of David, filled with an uncontrolled spiritual passion
that will be used of God to reach the previously unreached. This
time of radical holiness and passion for the presence of God will
break many of our current patterns of religion to touch God and
at the same time, move us to reach the poor and disenfranchised
of the world.
The
restoration of David’s tabernacle typifies the restoration
of true worship.
The
revelation of the love and heart and pursuit of God is fueling a
passion for Him after the spirit and structure of David’s
Tabernacle. There is a worldwide resurgence of 24/7 intercessory
worship. Again worshippers, musicians, and singers are being called
to minister to the Lord around the clock just as it was in David's
Tabernacle (see 1 Chr 9:33; 15:16-22; 25:1-31, Psa 134:1).
We
know that David was a true worshiper, but David was also a warrior-king.
To have worship restored as it was under David suggests there are
heights of praise and worship – of being near to the heart
of God that will be a weapon of warfare to cast down demonic powers
over whole cities and nations (see Psalm 149).
True
worship after the heart of David will release the presence of God
into the nations displacing every demonic power until history finally
declares, "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdom
of our Lord and of his Christ…" (Rev 11:15) – until
the completion of the Great Commission.
The
Old Testament priests didn't get together to preach or teach. They
carried the Ark of God's wonderful presence through divinely orchestrated
and motivated worship.
The
Tabernacle of David is the church of Jesus Christ in mature unity
and in full victory reaping the great harvest under a citywide apostolic
anointing and authority.
Citywide
prayer ministries are merely catalysts to the release of the spirit
of prayer upon the entire church. We must seek to be extravagant
worshipers as well as to be anointed servants of God to fulfill
the Great Commission. We are only to be radical, extravagant lovers
of God who are ready to do whatever God wants of us.
God
is not done with Pittsburgh and all of Western Pennsylvania. When
His church repents and honors Him and returns to Him, then God will
bless this community with prosperity. This area will be known more
for God than it ever was for steel.
